The art festival organized by the Department of Youth opens the project deadline
The festival "San Javier Imagina 2012 will be held on 20, 21 and April 22 will host the initiative" Art Barter "(Art for barter) in which the public can be a work of art in exchange for a service or object whose exchange the applicant agreed with the artist author of the work, without half compensation.
The "Art Barter", which was held successfully in several European circuits of contemporary art, will be one of the novelties of the next edition of the festival of art that will recover within some public spaces as possible arts scene along the street, today reported Councilman Youth Estíbaliz Masegosa.
Imagine 2012, the coordination team assumes the Department of Youth, has opened the submission of artistic projects to participate in the next edition of the Festival to which artists may submit, regardless of age, in any artistic discipline, both individually and collectively.
The projects submitted must be capable of self-management technique and may be as many as consider the author may propose a specific location for its project in the municipality of San Javier, either outdoors or indoors.
Projects may be submitted until February 29 in the Department of Youth through the mail, by hand or by e-mail.
The basis and the registration form can be viewed and downloaded from the website of the Department of Youth: www.juventud.sanjavier.es.
The multidisciplinary nature, innovation and originality of the project will be the main criteria for the selection shall also take into account technical and economic feasibility of it.
The Councillor for Youth, announced that Imagine Masegosa Estíbaliz 2012 will generally follow the lines of previous editions in terms of participation of local artists along with the other participants that during three days of art filled San Javier.
A series of workshops with art as a common thread from heating up the next few weeks until the conclusion of Imagine.
