The Councillor for Environment, Celia Martinez, director of the Center for Language and Communication, CPR, Torre Pacheco, Francisco José Villalba closed yesterday afternoon seminar on organic school garden which has been held in recent months in the school garden school "Peace" of San Javier, organized by the Department of Environment in collaboration with the CPR.
About thirty teachers of primary education, teachers Aidemar of Fundamifp, and municipal workers picked up their diplomas in a course that was aimed at training teachers to integrate the school garden in the curriculum of schools.
The presentation of diplomas to students took place near the garden where they have experienced the planting, care and collection of fruits and vegetables, led by Rafael Garcia expert in organic farming association biosecure, and course instructor, who also had the technical staff of the City of San Javier.
Students were delighted with both the result and with the practical development of the seminar which may hold a new edition at the request of the students themselves for next year and during the spring, to study different another time of year in the garden.
The Councillor for Environment, Celia Martinez congratulated students, and reiterated the commitment of his department for this type of initiatives that are committed to continue working.
