Santiago de la Ribera is prepared to live an intense weekend of Carnival with the People's Party Carnival parade on Saturday and Sunday with the participation of about 2,000 people.
Tomorrow, the tent on the esplanade hosts Barnuevo Popular Party Carnival from 23:00 h.
with prizes for best costumes, singles, pairs and groups (with more than 5 components).
The carnival parade will start Sunday afternoon from the esplanade to walk the streets Barnuevo Mar Menor and Aviation to the roundabout in front of local police in San Javier where terminated.
A total of 50 troupes bring rhythm and color to a late to the expected good weather and large crowds.
The local troupes will mix with the guests that come from different parts of the Region, in a parade in which the protagonists are the queens of Carnival this year, Laura Vilchez of the troupe "The Missing" and the girl Ana Mouzo of the parade "The Skull".
The troupes invited, many of which recur in Santiago de la Ribera come from Mula, from which come several formations, Cartagena, Sangonera, El Palmar, La Palma, Torrevieja (Alicante) and the neighboring towns of Torre Pacheco, Los Alcazares and San Javier, among other places.
