Santiago de la Ribera is the aim of the painters who come on Sunday April 22 at the National Painting Competition I Villa de San Javier which has organized the Department of Culture, with a first prize of 1.300euros.
The competition, which retrieves an initiative that was successfully held for years in the town, dedicates his return to the maritime landscape stretching from the Marina to the esplanade Barnuevo, in Santiago de la Ribera, mandatory subject of artists participating, which process Creative will be visible to the public on that stretch of beach.

The jury that will consider the originality and creativity of the work required on the issue will announce the award winners of the contest at 20:30 when the awards ceremony held in the municipal museum, headed by the mayor, Juan Martinez, to be attended by the Director General of Cultural Industries and the Arts, Jose Antonio Lorca, and the director of the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia, Juan Garcia, who also form part of the jury by the Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García.
The winning works will become property of the City of San Javier, and prizes are established 1,300 for 1, 850 euros for 2nd place and 600 for 3 ° in the adult form.
The awards consist of children's painting material for 100, 60 and 40 euros for 1 °, 2 ° and 3 ° classified.
