Students of 1 ° and 2 ° of Education Primary School "Sacred Heart", San Javier, learned the basics of sign language, to differentiate coins by touch or walk with the aid of a walker in the Awareness Day "Know my disability. Freaky Friday" held yesterday in that school, organized by the commission for social integration Equality Council of the City of San Javier.
Experiencing the difficulties faced daily by people with disabilities, auditory, visual, physical and mental, was the purpose of this meeting which included the active collaboration of entities such as Once, Fundamifp, Fesormu, Aidemar and Afemar such and as Councillor for Equality recalled Celia Martinez along with center managers toured the four seasons of the breadboard.
Children were rotating through the four seasons each of which was devoted to a disability.
Specialists from the various entities explaining to children the problems posed by various disabilities, and ways in which they can answer for optimal integration into society.
Children, 6 to 8 years were very participatory and responsive to this initiative the Department of Equality intends to other schools.
