The Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo and Wapaventura club president, Christophe Roche presented this morning the La Manga Trail II, the race to be held on Sunday, 27 more in La Manga del Mar Menor and runs entirely in the sand the beach.
The race will departure at 09:30 h.
Beach Bank Tabal (behind Souk) has 14 miles on a round trip circuit at a distance of 7.5 kilometers that runs along the coast, but has a smaller version of 8 kilometers, the same stage.
La Manga Trail is part of the Arena Tour, which has already held its first phase in La Torre de la Horadada, Alicante, and culminate on June 10 in Mazarron, which is incorporated for the first time in this edition.
The club organizes athletic Wapaventura this race on the sand, with the collaboration of the Municipal Sports, for the second year after the success of the first edition.
The organizers expect over 100 runners last year.

The only requirement is authorization parterna for children under 18 years, since you can participate from the 15 in the junior category.
From the age of 45 are included in the senior category.
Roche praised the conditions of La Manga for this race whose idea originated two years ago.
"We had to find places with great beach because there are not many, and La Manga is ideal, since we can do 14 miles in a straight line by the sea without leaving the sand."
Carlos Albaladejo encouraged participation "and enjoy a day of sport and beach in La Manga," and pledged city cooperation with this initiative for future issues.
