Papers on renewable energy, recycling and pollution by nitrates to commemorate the World Environment Day in San Javier (05/06/2012)

Mayor Juan Martinez, the director general of the Environment, Amador Lopez and Councilman Environment, Celia Martinez opened this morning in the auditorium of the City of San Javier, an information day on the occasion of World Environment Day " which should help raise public awareness about the importance of environmental issues and promote a change of attitude in this regard, "said the mayor, Juan Martinez.

The paradox of this situation, concluded the experts, that despite all efforts, the awareness of most of the sector, and the good results of the checks, nitrate levels are increasing.

SE is a widespread problem across Europe, said the speakers, where the numbers appear to have stabilized at 12 million tons of nitrates in 2008, compared to 2 million tons in 1950 are counted.

The day of the World Environment Day which falls on a program of weekly activities, continued with tasting menus with organic products from the area, at a local restaurant and a theater for children in the Plaza of Spain themed focused on environmental and water.
