The Department of Environment dismisses morning with a guided tour by ferry along the coast a week of activities dedicated to the environment, on the occasion of World Day held on 5 June.
The boat trip along the Mar Menor, free and with Julio Mas, former director of the Oceanographic Institute of Lo Pagan, as a guide has been a hit with the public who completed the seating capacity of 125 people on the boat.
One of the activities of the program, held yesterday, was a school visit to Parque Almansa where accompanied by technical Parks and Gardens, Belen Gomez and Council Member for the Environment, Celia Martinez, recognized by sight, smell and touch, native species, such as lavender, rosemary, lavender cotton or tamarisks.
It also explained the importance of maintaining a large green area in urban spaces, such as Almansa Park, and especially the need of its care, and civic behavior by tracking ordinances and regulations which govern it.
This morning several groups of different institutes and school of San Javier Aidemar have passed through the square in Spain where many stands have been from racing on small solar toy car, or heat water for tea in a solar oven.
Through group games and youth experimentation have come to renewable energy and climate change.
