The Councillor for Equality, Celia Martinez received this morning at City Hall to the four classes of 1 and 2 Primary Education School "Sacred Heart of Jesus" who participated in the conference "Meet my disability. Freaky Friday" organized by the Committee on Social Integration of Equality Council of the City of San Javier.
Accompanied by their teachers, students are given the murals on those who have worked with texts, drawings, pictures and slogans on the difficulties they may encounter people with disabilities, and how to find solutions to achieve social integration full.
Class work and the development of the murals was the second part of a day that was held at the Centre, in May, with the help of organizations like ONCE, Fumdamifp, Fesormu, Afemar Aidemar and whose staff showed different experimental circuits the reality of people with disabilities auditory, visual, physical and mental.
Celia Martinez handed a diploma to teachers in each class for their participation in the conference and praised the work done by teachers with children "because they really have captured the idea and the message of this activity that was intended that children know and reflect in class and at home on the reality of disability. "
Subsequently, all the participating children received a gift given by the Department of Equality.
The four murals are set out in the lobby of City Hall in the coming days.
