The Palace Restaurant, San Javier, yesterday won the first prize in pots organized by the Association of Open Centre The Bank, within the First Day of the Cauldron of the Mar Menor, on the occasion of the festivities in Santiago de la Ribera .
The expert in pots, Ramon Jimenez, known as "The Gurullo" Santiago de la Ribera, won second prize, while the third went to Porto Bello restaurant, the marina in San Javier.
The council of Celebration, Gloria Cuenca, Councillor of Commerce, Pedro Lopez and President of The Bank Open Centre, Ruben Ramos was responsible for awarding the trophies to the winners.
Beyond the mouth of the jurors, hundreds of people were able tasted this dish yesterday the Mar Menor to the local business association served with a drink for 2 euros.
The pots that were serving were prepared in the traditional way in the sand on the beach at El Pescador public view.
