The Department of Environment has launched a new partnership with the Volunteer through the Volunteer Time Bando can also now serve on school gardens.
This week we have incorporated 2 volunteers already working with commissioning activities for the new course of the 3 school gardens that exist in different schools in the municipality.
At the same time, participate in the work of the school garden "Carrion Joaquin Valverde", San Javier framed in the Summer School held in this center organized by the FAPA and the Department of Social Services of the City of San Javier.
Councillor for Environment, Celia Martinez, who was next to the Volunteer, Catherine Perez, volunteers who join the orchards, said "the selfless work of volunteers and that this initiative promotes the social integration of citizens in of ecological activities, promotes the exchange of knowledge and to work and spread the techniques and benefits of agriculture that respects the natural environment.
Celia Martinez added that it is a "step to promote environmental volunteer in our town as a basic tool to protect the natural environment around us."
