Mayor Juan Martínez Pastor this morning signed three cooperation agreements between the City of San Javier and associations that manage the Teatro San Javier, the Chorus and Dance Group of San Javier Mar Menor and the Cultural Carnival in Santiago Popular Bank.
Juan Martinez, who was accompanied by the Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García said the purpose of these agreements is to "support the work being done throughout the year and its contribution to the cultural and social life of the town."

The three agreed to acknowledge the support received by the City, and pledged to continue working on the promotion and dissemination of folklore, and drama, and in the organization and development of the local Carnival "is already one of the main region, "said its president.
The agreements signed provide for an aid for next year of $ 3,000 for both the group Teatro San Javier, as Chorus and Dance Mar Menor, and 16,000 euros to the Cultural Carnival Association Popular Santiago de la Ribera.
Juan Antonio Pérez Martínez thanked "the magnificent" Folklore Festival organization 2012.
Leonor Benitez also congratulated by the local group's participation in last year's Festival Theatre, as well as theatrical events conducted throughout the year, and the Carnival of the Bank for organizing parties of both winter summer, and the promotion and dissemination of the performing area.
The councilman of Culture, Inmaculada Garcia congratulated the three groups for her work and recalled his presence, whenever required, in acts mentioned and the pedagogical task that develop from their headquarters.
Garcia stressed that the signing of these agreements "seals the municipal commitment to support our cultural associations as implied in our society."
