Pablo Martinez Perez, won yesterday Jumilla II cut ham contest organized by the Department of Commerce and the Merchants Association San Javier Centre Open, held in the tent at the festival of San Javier.
Aurelia Avila, Torrevieja, and Juan Pablo Lara, Membrilla, Ciudad Real won second and third prizes.
The jury, composed of Ruben Arroba, expert cutter winner of the first edition of the competition, Damian Martinez, teacher professional cutter and a representative of the rocks of the parties, assessed from clothing cutters, cutting weight, he should not exceed 100grams, presentation and cleanliness, among other things.
The crowd that followed the contest from the start, appreciating the mastery of the five participants, I can check if properly cut ham tastes better for just 1 euro with drink.
The prizes, awarded by the association of merchants San Javier Open Center, consisted of three commemorative trophies and 3 vouchers 150, 100 and 50 euros to spend in establishments of the association.
