The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez today announced the budget of the City of San Javier for next year amounting to 41,407,900.51 million, 2 million less than last year, which represents a reduction of 5 per percent.
"It is an austere budget, balanced and realistic, which is conditioned by the difficult economic situation we are facing, but also sees positive aspects about the situation improved over 2013," said Juan Martinez in relation to the accounts municipal approved by the full City held today.
Investments for 2013 increased by 24 percent over the previous year, with a total of 860,550 euros, 180,000 euros of which are destined for the sewage of La Manga, which also invested 137,000 euros in the supply network water.
Investments include the refurbishment of the sports hall road with 165,000 euros, and paving 150.000euros worth.
Reforms in the auditorium, public lighting, a roundabout in Santiago de la Ribera, and placement of artificial turf on the Paseo Colon, with a total expenditure of 130.000euros, complete the investment chapter.
In the expenditure budget, personnel fell by 2.45 percent from the previous year and will total 14.924.877euros.
In terms of staff, Juan Martinez said the new labor agreement until 2015 Municipal signed by all unions represented at City Hall.
