The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez signed a collaboration agreement Caritas Murcia, represented by its president José Luis Leante, through which the City of San Javier donates 40,000 Euros to Caritas of San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera will go to the assistance of people with basic needs of the municipality.
Griñón Francisco, and representatives of Caritas Fatima Sánchez San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera, respectively, as well as the Episcopal Vicar, José León, were present at the signing of this agreement which will continue with the same amount in 2013, announced the Mayor.
Juan Martinez acknowledged the work done by Caritas "especially important in a difficult time like this, helping to feed, bills to pay, and the prevention of exclusion."
Martinez added that the government "what can and should do is to financially support this work, and that's what the City of San Javier with this agreement."
Representatives of Caritas, both Leante, regional, and local, is grateful for the support this agreement "on behalf of all who will benefit from this help," said Fatima Sanchez.
