The Councillor for Women and Equality, Celia Martinez today announced the contest I Microstories "About Women", an idea that is included in the commemorative program of 8 M, through which invites any person over 18 years reflect in a few words on women in any field.
With this contest, held in collaboration with the Department of Culture through the Municipal Library, aims to generate a tool that can be very effective in drawing attention to women through writing, the councilman said.
Celia Martinez added that all work submitted to the competition will be exhibited in different municipalities, "so that our public buildings will be filled by a time of sketches and stories relating to women."
The competition, which in its early days and has received a score of works, consisting of three prizes of 175, 125 and 100 euros for the first, second and third respectively.
February 25 is the deadline for admission of microstories to be submitted to a jury of five members of the City Council for Equality, said his Secretary Felipe Andres.
Andres Felipe explained that may occur over 18 years with up to 2 microstories not exceed 120 words.

Awards will be presented at a public ceremony in the program of activities to mark the International Women's Day, the month of March.
