The Official Language School of San Javier held on March 13 the third edition of "ChariTEA", a charity event, open to the whole district, fundraiser, which this year will go to Aidemar associations, MABS Cancer Center, and Help Mar Menor.
The Councillor for Education and Volunteering, Cati Perez today supported the initiative while presenting the same to which came the director of the Official Language School of San Javier, Maria Angeles Martinez Abarca, the director of the Conservatory of Music, Francisco Martínez, PacoVidal of Aidemar, Lord Graham of MABS, and Bernard Ash, Help Mar Menor.
The ChariTEA, organized by the Alumni Association EOISJ connection, will be held in the auditorium of the Civic Center "Parque Almansa" San Javier from 5 to 8 pm.
Attendees will have tea with pastries, with proceeds going to some charitable object, and tickcets to buy 1 Euro for a raffle in which prizes will be raffled several items donated by commercial establishments in the municipality.
Beneficiary associations will attend the public and various musical performances prepared from the Conservatory.
"We are going through difficult times in which we must all help in the middle of our chances," said the director of the Official Language School, Maria Angeles Martinez, in relation to this charitable activity driven by students with support from faculty and the Department of Education.
The Conservatory of Music is added for the first time to this initiative prepare a concert "with a repertoire that convey positive messages of hope," said the director who welcomed the invitation by his side beneficial because it allows the center and get the music and the work of students and teachers to the street, following the current line to the center.
Both Graham Lord, MABS as Bernard Ash, Help Mar Menor and Aidemar Paco Vidal, ChariTEA appreciated the help and invited to participate in an afternoon in which they also will have a booth in which to present their activity, recruit new volunteers, and raise funds by selling their products.
MABS Cancer Center is a partnership between British citizens, but caters to anyone who is responsible for providing assistance to people with cancer, with advice, translators, support in hospitals and other actions.
MABS has 2 stores in San Javier, one of clothing and other objects and furniture, second hand, with which raise their own funds.
Help Mar Menor is a British charity that operates in the Mar Menor and providing general assistance to anyone who may need it in any emergency situation.
Help Mar Menor takes a weekly market with items donated.
Aidemar also organized their own charity events and is aided by other associations and organizations, as in this case.
Paco Vidal recalled that Aidemar San Javier was born 30 years ago on the initiative of parents of children with intellectual disabilities, and currently serves 500 people of all ages in the region of the Mar Menor with 7 centers ranging from attention Sheltered housing early.
