The Time Bank of San Javier is still a reference for the implementation of similar projects in different parts of Spain.
Recently the facilities of the Time Bank, located in Santiago de la Ribera, were visited by representatives of the Department of Social Action, Elche, Alicante, in order to understand its functioning in the face of creating a time bank in that city.
Volunteer Coordinator, Alicia Balsalobre and social educator and coordinator of the Department of the Time Bank, Natalia Conesa received the representatives of the City of Elche to that explained in detail the operation and management of both the Bank and project time Social Volunteer complementary and Hotel Association.
After the visit, the representatives of the Department of Social Action of the City of Elche showed satisfaction with the meeting in which the City Council of San Javier offered technical support for the creation of a Time Bank in Elche.
