The associations of the municipality of San Javier concentrated today on the esplanade Barnuevo of Santiago de la Ribera on the occasion of the first Fair Associations throughout the morning opened with more than 35 groups of different nature in order to be released to public and celebrate a day of living.
The Hotel Association, the Volunteer Department, organized the Fair, which is part of the 125th Anniversary of the town, which was opened by the Director General of Social Policy, Leopoldo Navarro, Mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez and Volunteer councilman, Cati Perez in a ceremony attended by the mayor headman of Santiago de la Ribera, Julia Gallut, and a representative of the General Air Academy.
Youth associations, musical, charitable, social care, sports, cultural, housewives, and festive, among others, occupied the kennels adjacent to the beach Barnuevo.
A musical performance from the Conservatory of Music, and a session of tai chi on the beach inaugurated a tight program of activities, carried out by the participating associations themselves, which throughout the morning Fair encouraged by the hundreds of people who marched.
The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez said the wide participation and the importance of partnerships "that reflect the concerns of our neighbors in all areas, and that are moving the town with their activities."
For his part, Director General of Social Policy, Leopoldo Navarro highlighted the work of the volunteers and members of associations "who dedicate part of their time to various tasks which affect the society to which they belong" and reiterated the support of his department to field of volunteering.
