The professional team SAMU (Service Municipal Emergency) of San Pedro del Pinatar won a Championship Sunday First Aid and Rescue at Beaches "Claudius Galen" held on the beaches of Santiago de la Ribera.
The Security council of the City of San Javier, José Manuel Alarte presided over the awards ceremony held at noon Sunday at the Esplanade Barnuevo, which also collected their prizes, the team of Red Cross volunteers North Mar Menor, as a second classified, and the Civil Defence volunteers from San Pedro del Pinatar, as a third party.
The Championship sponsored by the Institute of Health Professional Education "Claudius Galen" teams also met at San Javier, La Union and Cartagena.
All of them faced several trials, 4 on Saturday and free on Sunday, where they had to demonstrate their ability to improvise, organization and especially his technique at the time of maximum effectiveness in the resolution of the various emergency that can occur in a beach.
With a demanding level of simulation, which became part confuse the large audience that gathered to monitor the maneuvers of the participating experts, the teams met a traffic accident that ends with an overturned car on the seafront with several injured and a young immersion syndrome, both tests performed with maximum realism, which included continuous makeovers.

All followed by judges assigned to each test, away from other teams to guess no proof without talking to third parties, and given the public could monitor the various tests at four different points of Paseo Colon.
The free test, each team designed and reserved for Sunday morning was the most colorful, notably winning team which included the participation of a dog.
The winning team presented with a scenario with five emergencies, some of them simultaneously.
The dog, a Newfoundland two years and a half, responded to the cry of "Land, land, land" a rescuer to venture into the sea and get to land a person diving syndrome, while the lifeguard was concerned with other.
