The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez chairs the Municipal Truancy and Dropout Reduction of the City of San Javier has been made that morning in the city of San Javier with the participation of a wide social and professional representation related to the subject , and with the primary objective of preventing both absenteeism and school drop within the municipality.
The departments of Education and Social Services leading this multidisciplinary committee is responsible for driving the I Municipal Plan for Prevention, Monitoring and Control of Absenteeism and Dropout Reduction, which includes other councils as Youth, Health, Trade and Employment, Culture, Women and Equality, and Security, among others, as well as health-related institutions, and especially to education, with regional and local management teams and professionals of the 10 schools in the county.
The functions of the Commission will be to coordinate, propose, analyze and evaluate the actions, measures and programs that are in place to try to prevent absenteeism and dropout, which fortunately in the municipality of San Javier, no alarming so far, said the Councillor for Education, Cati Perez.
The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez recalled that the Commission will also develop the Regional Prevention, Monitoring and Control Truancy and Dropout Reduction Program (RESP), and ultimately to work closely to prevent or address potential cases can be detected in our centers.
