The Department of Volunteer thanked volunteers who helped this year, from October 2012 to June 2013, his selfless work with a meeting in which there was no shortage performances of different groups, a boat ride along the Mar Menor and snack on the esplanade Barnuevo where over 130 participants exchanged experiences and fire season together.
The area councilor, Catherine Perez, accompanied by the mayor of Santiago de la Ribera, Julia Gallut, thanked the volunteers work developed throughout the course, from October 2012 to June 2013, either through giving workshops Time Bank or doing voluntary work and accompany elderly, or do errands, among other tasks.
The event took place on the esplanade Barnuevo starting with reading a story by Jorge Bucai on the selfless help to others.
Then followed a theatrical Senior Center in La Manga, and a performance workshop sevillanas, the Time Bank.
An appetizer set after a boat put an end to the Meeting the volunteers, many of whom remain active during the summer, and others will be developed with new ideas for next year.
