Mariano Belmar, with his "Fantasia in La Ribera I" won first prize in the photography competition "Santiago de la Ribera, its natural environment", organized by the Department of the Environment, in tribute to the town for its 125th anniversary.
The winner pocketed the 700 euros which was gifted the first prize while Faustino Nieto, received the second prize 350euros that obtained with "Zen Sunrise".
Paquita Pardo, ranked third with "Reflections of the Mar Menor" took the third prize $ 200.
The jury chaired by Councilwoman Celia Martinez and composed by photographer José Luis Villaescusa and graphic designer Alejandra Olmos, three second prize awarded to Joaquín Molina for "Dock I", Thomas Penalver by "Sunset in San Blas" and Pedro Saez with " Sailboats Solitary ".
In total there were 62 photographs, which dominated the marine environment and the light that illuminates the Mar Menor different, among which also slipped inside other collected over natural wealth places like San Blas.
