The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez said today the ongoing work of the Coral St. James, Santiago de la Ribera enriching agent of cultural and artistic life of the town, during the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two institutions through which the City provides $ 3,000 to the Coral which in turn agrees to cooperate in cultural activities in the context of musical events.
The president of the Coral St. James, Sebastian Moya who was in charge of ratifying the agreement with the Mayor this morning in the city of San Javier, thanked the municipal contribution "without which many of the activities of the Coral could not be carried out ".
The Coral which has 30 members, ten years organized the meeting of Corals in the Mar Menor, which is held as part of the festivities in Santiago de la Ribera, on Friday July 19 with the participation of corals Torreagüera, San Javier, Cartagena, Jumilla and Santiago de la Ribera.
Music training remains active throughout the year participating in many events related to performances, concerts and parties, inside and outside the municipality.
