The City of San Javier, which was closed yesterday for a public holiday in the city, today held a minute of silence in mourning for the 78 killed and 130 injured in the train accident in Santiago de Compostela.
The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez and the rest of the municipal corporation and dozens of workers and neighbors who have come or transiting through the street of Spain held a minute of silence in front of City Hall in San Javier which ended with applause of all present.
The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez expressed his condolences on behalf of the municipality of San Javier to the families of the victims and all our strength and support to the wounded and their families, and our solidarity with the people of Galicia.
