The song and dance group from San Javier Mar Menor successfully mobilized their "old glories", the first generations of dancers of this training founded in 1968 by the then parish priest of San Javier, D.
Antonio Lopez, to mark the 25th Anniversary Folk Festival held each year in early September in San Javier, and local group serves as host.
Under the direction of what was once a dancer and teacher of the group, Elizabeth Nicholas who also responded to the call of the current directive, a total of 28 dancers rehearse twice a week for months.
Although not all have been many who have been commands to Isabel for the August 31 and September 1, when it will celebrate the 25th Folklore Festival of San Javier, amazed again as it does on stage 40, 30 or 20 years, as they are several generations of dancers that have returned for the occasion.

The Festival organized by the local group and the Department of Culture of the City of San Javier consist of 2 galas, the first on Saturday August 31 in the auditorium of Almansa in San Javier Park, and the second, on Sunday September 1, is move to the esplanade Barnuevo of Santiago de la Ribera to mark the 125th anniversary of the town.
