Effective Maritime Service of San Javier Civil Protection this morning rescued the two occupants of a boat that caught fire while sailing waters of the Mar Menor, near the island of Baron.
The incident occurred minutes before noon, when the single emergency telephone number in the region of Murcia, 112, received notice that the occupants of a boat eight feet long were in danger after a fire broke out on board.
Was immediately mobilized rescue boat Municipal Emergency Services and Civil Protection of San Javier, with two rescuers who-after locating at Sea-scene, rescued the two occupants of the boat, who were transferred to soil with some dizziness.
