The Department of Environment yesterday took one of his regular information activities and public awareness on environmental education, and household recycling to La Manga del Mar Menor.
Throughout the morning, up to urbanization Manga Beach, the Department deployed a counter in the brochures that were distributed in different campaigns, with merchandising products like magnets on recycling, funnels to facilitate recycling of household oil and small gifts for answering a few simple questions about recycling.
The Department took the opportunity to provide all information concerning its management, including municipal ordinances affecting the sector and graphic documentation on the various exhibitions that the council has launched.
Exposure Cristanible
Seeking the practice, in this case of recycling, the council has organized an exhibition of glass that opened last night, with the presence of the area councilor, mayor Celia Martinez and headman of La Manga, Rosa dos Santos in The Galleries Flamenco La Manga.
This is an exhibition "Cristanible" work of two artisans from the region, working with reusable glass containers that they reconverted household objects like hangers, vases, or candle holders, among many others.
The exhibition will remain open until the end of summer and open at night from 20:00 h.
