The San Javier Theatre Group used the premiere of "The Pelópidas" last August 14 at the International Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance to celebrate its 25th Anniversary by thanking the support received from the City of San Javier, represented by Mayor, Juan Martinez, in a ceremony prior to the performance, which also featured the councilors of Culture of the last 25 years, and the directors who at that time directed the formation, which dedicated a public recognition.
The current head of the group, Leonor Benitez delivered on behalf of the group, a commemorative to the mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez, in gratitude for the support from the City to the local theater group.
A guaranteed aid in the words of Mayor reiterated the Government team will continue to support culture in the city.
Juan Martinez congratulated the group for his career and recalled that thanks to the local amateur theater festival was launched 44 years ago.
Before a packed auditorium and minutes before the performance, which ended up adding a new success for San Javier Theatre Group, its leaders had the stage presence of the five councilors of Culture has coincided with the group in these past 25 years, Maria Dolores Tárraga, Antonia Cler, Carrion Pepa, Pepa Garcia and the current Inmaculada García.
