The Department of Equality has organized a course on "Use non-sexist language in local government" for workers and civil of the City of San Javier in order to inform, educate and raise awareness among municipal workers on the proper use of language in Sex matters when performing their work, explained Councillor for Equality, Celia Martinez, during the presentation of the course.
The mayor Celia Martinez was accompanied by Francisco diapers, monitor the course, approved by the School of Local Government, the Ministry of the Presidency, consisting of 20 hours.
Classes will be held in new building of the Department of Youth, in Spanish Aviation Avenue, on days 3, 7, 8, 14 and 15 October, during business hours from 08:00 h.
to 11:00 h.
Martinez recalled that this initiative is real and effective implementation of the Equality Act and the Equal Municipal Plan, which will be updated shortly.
The Monitor added that the same course of applying the regulations both nationally and regionally, and explained that a participatory and practical cases, it is intended that each department has a person trained in equality, and that for practical purposes , updated all documents and daily working procedures in the city according to the use of non-sexist language.
The registration deadline to apply for one of 20 places available opens tomorrow in the Department of Equality and remain open for a week until September 27.
