The Department of Women and Equality has organized Experiences Roundtable entitled "Santiago de la Ribera and women" to be held on Friday, October 11th at 19:30 h.
in the socio-cultural center "Prince of Asturias", Santiago de la Ribera.
The event, which forms part of the acts of the 125th Anniversary of Santiago de la Ribera, gather a group of older women who will discuss experiences of the past with which make the evolution over time of women in the town, although will also shift to public involvement.
At the same event, to be attended by the Councillor for Women and Equality, Celia Martinez, the mayor headman of Santiago de la Ribera, Julia Gallut, and the president of the Association of Local Housewives, Maria Carmen Romero, will present the exhibition "Relevant Women Murcia".
The exhibition "Women relevant Murcia", which can be seen in the Museum of San Javier from 15 to 22 October, is a traveling exhibition courtesy of Murcia Regional Library.
The show is a tribute to women, born or settled in the region that have outstanding attitude and effort to achieve full equality of all social fields, from business, artistic, athletic and political, among others.
