The exhibition hall of the Municipal Museum hosts the exhibition "When ink becomes art" brings together twenty works of Cartagena pen artist Gaby Guillen.
The exhibition will be open until February 16 is quite a demand for a technique in which Gaby Guillen is determined to continue investigating.
"Often the pen stays in sketches and what I do is finish the painting to detail," said the painter who first exposed.
The landscapes, whether recognized or not, abound in the theme of the exhibition including a foray into color, always based ink with highlighting some aspect of the composition.
Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García inaugurated the exhibition, which emphasized the originality of the work and the beauty of a technique that requires a mastery of drawing and precision.
Gaby Guillen works although other techniques, at least for now, continue to deepen with pen and ink, an open field and not too busy.
The exhibition is open until February 16, 2014 Tuesday to Saturday from 09:30 h.
to 13:30 h.
and from 16:00 to 18:30 h.
and Sunday from 10:30 h.
to 13:30 h.
