The Department of Parks and Gardens planted coconut trees interspersed with palm trees already on the stretch of National Highway 332, between the Municipal Museum and the roundabout at the gas station.
The coconut palms replace suffered the ravages of the weevil and were cleared to safeguard the rest, who remain in good condition.
