The Children's School of El Mirador (PAI Point Child Care) today held its particular Grandparents Day with a day of activities in which they have been attended Senior Center of town.
Early in the morning, a group of women belonging to the Club of Reading Center, have staged a storyteller to 26 School children, all under 3 years that followed the adventures of Tom Thumb attentive.
The activity, which was already successfully performed last year, enriches both the children and the elderly, whose center is attached to the PAI, which facilitates collaborations and exchange visits of the groups throughout the year, said the Councillor for Social Services, Francisca Naranjo on his visit to the Infant School.
The PAI of El Mirador, which meets eight years running, depends on the Department of Social Services, and is managed by Eulen Educa.
Its main objective is to facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life, so it remains open 12 months a year, from 07:45 h.

As explained by the director of the Center, Martha Alabaladejo, the service center has own room with a cook who prepared each morning a menu that is also open to the school children of El Mirador hiring service.
Currently, the Center has a full quota of children from 4 months to 2 years, with 12 children who are served by two teachers.
In the range of 2-3 years, 14 children, still have places available.
Two other teachers cater to this group.
The Center now has a student intern with Down syndrome, through an agreement signed with the UCAM which aims to facilitate the employment of people with disabilities.
