A total of 25 women of different age, profession and education participated in the workshop "Who Am I" organized by the Department of Equality within the program that is held during the month of March to mark International Women's Day.
The workshop, held on 13 and 17 March with a total duration of 8 hours, was intended to work and explore the concept of self-esteem to reinforce and reaffirm the personal worth of enthusiastic participants who fired the course taught by In -tempus.
The workshop was divided into three parts, the first on the perception of self, a second, self-exploration and acknowledged to the "personal journey" and a third reaffirmation of self-esteem.
The work was developed by techniques of personal and collective recognition with great involvement of the participants and with the ultimate goal to aspire to personal well-being and development of the strengths of each.
Councillor for Equality, Celia Martinez said since the council is working to promote positive actions such gendered designed to bring out the best in people in the service of equal opportunities and rights.
