San Javier hosts on Sunday 30 March, the IV Regional Championships Gymnastics in which include a total of 150 gymnasts, infant, junior and senior categories from 18 teams, of which 9 Murcia, 3 Cartagena 3 San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier and 3.

Miriam Alonso, who is the instructor of aesthetic gymnastics in the sports center of San Javier explained that apart from the competition, also attended by a group of adults that has formed in San Javier, which this year will be exhibiting but intends to federate and compete.

Albaladejo highlighted the enthusiasm and momentum of this group aged between 27 and 40, which purports to show that no matter how old or a particular physical to practice and enjoy the sport.
They are also in the process of creating their own association from which further support the discipline.
Aesthetic gymnastics has been a revelation in San Javier, where after playing the 2nd stage of the Cup of Spain in 2009, was included as an activity in the supply of sports.

At present a total of 45 children and adult students.
Aesthetic gymnastics is based on body movements and includes elegance, flexibility, expression, agility, strength and coordination.

Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo Miriam Alonso congratulated for its achievements in aesthetic gymnastics in the town, and Carmen Albaladejo the initiative group of adults.
Albaladejo encouraged the parents to sports, advantage sports schedule for their children, or Ludosport works at the sports center for the care of children by monitors in the sports schedule responsible.
Albaladejo invited the public to enjoy the championship and also recalled that during this weekend is celebrated in Santiago de la Ribera Spain Championship resistance watercraft.
