The San Javier theater group yesterday offered a poetry recital with works by Federico García Lorca, in the library of San Javier, to coincide with World Book Day.
With its principal, Leonor Benitez, front, a dozen actors gave life to Lorca's verses, beginning with an excerpt from "The House of Bernarda Alba."
"Death of Antonito Camborio", "Lament for Ignacio Sanchez Mejias" and "Romance of the Moon", completed the literary event hosted by the San Javier theater group, which was very well received by the public.
San Javier library not want to miss on April 23, although the celebrations of the Day of the Book moved to Friday, April 25, with an extensive program of activities.
