The Department of Culture has convened the Third National Contest of Outdoor Painting "Villa de San Javier" offers a first prize of 1,300 euros.

After two first editions in Santiago de la Ribera, the competition moves to the town of San Javier with a wide range that goes from the Municipal Museum to the library.
There will be two categories, one for adults for over 16 years and the other for children between 8 and 15 years old.
Participants should seal his paintings between nine and eleven o'clock in the Plaza of Spain, San Javier.

Children can use any rigid support on measuring 24x29, 7cm.
Each participant may submit only one box, to be delivered at the Municipal Museum, between six and seven o'clock.
The jury's decision will be announced around 20:30 h.

The jury, which will assess the originality, creativity, technique, materials, and ability to convey the works, shall be composed of the painter Nono Garcia, Juan Garcia Sandoval conservative, former director of the Museum of Fine Arts;
Remedios Ruiz, Bachelor of Fine Arts and monitors local paint shop;
Contracting Councillor of the City of San Javier, Aurora López;
the Councillor for Culture of the City of San Javier, Inmaculada García, Culture and coach, Juan Francisco Mirete.
The palm will have a first prize of 1,300 euros, a second prize of 850euros and third and fourth prize, endowed both with 600euros.
In the junior category will be a first prize of 100 euros in drawing materials, a second prize material for 60 euros and a gifted third with 40 euros.
There will also be two other sponsored Castelar College who has endowed with prizes 100 euros each.

Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García invited amateurs and professionals to participate and fill paint and San Javier art all day May 17 and hoped to repeat the success that this call has been in previous years, in which have attended painters from different parts of Spain.
