The City of San Javier and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena sign a cooperation agreement with the aim of establishing a framework for cooperation in activities of mutual interest announced today the mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez after meeting with the rector of the UPCT Jose Antonio Franco, in the municipality of San Javier
Promote applied research projects and practical training for students UPCT, in the town is one of the main objectives of the framework for collaboration between the two institutions, both the Mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez, the president of the UPCT Jose Antonio Franco pledged to continue to promote.
Currently, 121 students from San Javier studying at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, many of which benefit from the mobility aid given annually by the Department of Education of the City of San Javier, along with aid to Local Erasmus students.
In addition to the numerous staff UPCT based in San Javier, linking the town with UPCT also passes the General Air Academy, the University Center for the Defence is attached to the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, which each year celebrates its courses Summer in the AGA.
UPCT also involved since its inception in university regatta for 15 years in Santiago de la Ribera.
