The Basketball Federation of Murcia recovered years the federal license of the monarch who credited him as a player of the team of the General Air Academy in the town of San Javier.

This is an official document which states that the then Prince Juan Carlos Borbón y Borbón practiced basketball in our region, with license number 433, presented at the FBRM the November 3, 1958 and validated by the Spanish Basketball Federation eleven days later (November 14).
