The City of San Javier and Cajamurcia Foundation have renewed a partnership agreement through which the bank sponsors festivals San Javier with a contribution of 8,000 euros, 6,000 for the Jazz Festival, and 2,000 for Festival Theatre Music and Dance.
Both institutions materialize the agreement today at the San Javier Town Hall with the Mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez, the Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García, director of Near Caja Murcia, Victoria Esteban, and the director of the institution in San Javier, Francisco Lozano.
The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez Pastor thanked the collaboration "which for years kept Cajamurcia Foundation San Javier festivals because they have always been there, despite the difficult economic situation of the moment."
Martinez, who reiterated municipal support to festivals, said that the municipal investment effort Festival "is rewarded with the recovery of between 30 and 40 percent of the money invested through the box office and through institutions and Companies that decide to sponsor festivals, which put us at the forefront of cultural summer in the Region ".
The mayor of San Javier, added that for these reasons, the Foundation Cajamurcia, deserves our thanks and appreciation as well as their own events also supports other cultural initiatives as in this case the festivals of San Javier.
The director of Near Caja Murcia, Victoria Stephen also thanked the City of San Javier initiative and cultural boost to the organization of these festivals, and secured the support of the bank to them.
