San Javier hosts on Sunday June 15th Meeting of the XI Lacemakers of Bun to be held in Spain's Square from 10:30 h.
with the opening of an exhibition of works by local lace makers of Abomar association that acts as host at this meeting organized by the Department of Arts, the City of San Javier.
The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez, Councilman Craft, Pedro López, and the president of the Association of Lacemakers Bun of San Javier, Carmen Bautista, presented this morning to attend the meeting to about 125 lace and lace makers of Region of Murcia, and the provinces of Albacete and Alicante.
Juan Martinez praised the work of Abomar, "because it helps to keep our traditions," and stressed the importance of associations in San Javier and the wide range of topics that address, as demonstrated in the recent Fair Associations.
The Councillor of Commerce, Pedro Lopez said both Abomar consolidation, as the meeting already held its eleventh year as a day of living, exchange, improving job skills and exposure to unveil a craft work, which many still adherents.
The day will begin with the opening of the exhibition of works in the lobby of the City of San Javier which will be open throughout the morning Sunday.
The lace makers do their work in the square of Spain, to public view until 14:00 h.
when will a convivial meal to close the day.
