Volunteer Councillor Catherine Perez took the opportunity to thank them for their selfless work and dedication to the community
Volunteers Time Bank fired during a day of living in which the Councillor Volunteer, Catalina Perez, thanked them for their selfless work and dedication to the world of volunteering, whether in the Time Bank as monitors any workshops that are taught, or in other areas managed by the Department.
Convened by the Department, about 110 people, all of them volunteers, participated in a festive day that began with a boat ride and continued in the sports of San Javier, with performances by dance troupes of the time bank, like salsa taught by Jorge Cervantes, the Sevillanas offering voluntary Amparo Lopez and taught tango Lucia Cordo.
There was no shortage of bank Rociero Choir Time singer and coordinating voluntary Juani Osuna.
After the performances, there was pool session and a convivial meal, which were given a T-shirt identifying bank volunteers time to the Department of Voluntary and Social Participation.
During the summer, when the workshops of the time bank take a break, the Volunteer Department is still active, responding to all requests received in volunteering and volunteer coordinating social actions that follow also active during this time.
