The Conservatory of San Javier has convened its traditional summer course which this year includes a total of 22 instruments and musical disciplines, including modern singing.
The summer course is open to anyone interested will be held from 14 to 18 July at the premises of music school.
Councillor for Education Catalina Perez and the center's director, Francisco Javier Martínez Aranda presented this morning in which the course may enroll children from 4 years in the Music and Movement group to be formed with students from 4 to 7 years , taking one class period a day from 09:30 to 10:30 h.
For all other students will be 09:30 to 13:30 h.
The days of the course, teachers who taught at the Conservatory, start with three hours of a chosen instrument, and after a lunch hosted by the AMPA, all students will meet to practice in orchestra format for the final closing concert.
Center director, Francisco Javier Martínez Aranda said the Summer School, which has a great host, is a "link" between courses for students who have the opportunity to participate in an activity outside of the school year, given dynamically, in which all teachers are involved. "
Registrations can be made at the Conservatory of Music in San Javier until 4 July.
Prices are 50 euros and 20 euros for children Music and Movement group.
The Conservatory will be named "Antonio Martinez Canovas"
Councillor for Education, Catalina Perez announced during the presentation, the Conservatory of San Javier renamed Conservatory "Antonio Martinez Canovas" in memory of a guitar teacher and one of the founders of the Centre in 2001, died recently.
The initiative came from faculty whose proposal was accepted immediately, said the mayor.
Francisco Martínez Aranda, recalled that Professor Martínez Cánovas was a mainstay of the Conservatory and so saw the whole educational community "so it will be an honor to see your name identifying the Centre".
Martínez Aranda said progression Conservatory of Intermediate San Javier which last year had an increase in demand of 40 percent, and recalled that the 39 students who began his career in 2000, will be passed to the more than 600 students who start the new course.
