In July, the City has started summer school which runs until the end of August, fortnight or month, in three public schools in the district: the "Joaquín Valverde Carrion", San Javier, the CPEI "El Mirador" El Mirador, and "Fulgencio Ruiz" in Santiago de la Ribera.
The school is for children 3 to 12 years and operates Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00 h.
a service for "early birds" from 07:45 h.
Children learn and have fun with a program of activities, sports, and craft workshops, which also has included English, and school support, as well as themed weeks, visits, and water games, not forgetting fostering social relationships and coping with children from other schools.
Summer School City is organized by the Federation of Associations of Parents of San Javier, which encompasses the AMPAS colleges, the Department of Social Services and the Department of Education.
Registrations are still open for two months, and applicants must go to summer school centers or to the Department of Education, in the municipality of San Javier.
