The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez, Councillor for Public Works and Services, José Miguel Luengo, and the Councillor and Mayor pedánea Pozo Aledo, Estíbaliz Masegosa, today visited the construction of a pedestrian walkway connecting the center of Pozo Aledo with the civic center of the town.
The works, which are already completed and operational, include the construction of a total of 250 linear feet of sidewalk two feet wide, in a section of the regional road-Avileses Pozo Aledo, and relocation of existing lighting that illuminates the ride.
The works that have been made in just two weeks have involved an investment of 31,000 euros.
The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez recalled that "this work was a commitment of the government team with neighbors Pozo Aledo who had no safe access to the civic center" whose service bar, opened shortly after his new contract, advanced Juan Martinez.

José Miguel Luengo, also recalled that the Local Government Board is approving these days a number of projects under construction in the town paving, lighting, and other urban improvements financed half of the surplus for the year past, representing a total of 2, 3 million.
Luengo said that the last Board approved paving projects in various parts of San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera by over 400,000 euros.
