Councillor for Education Catalina Perez today inaugurated the Summer of the Sea International University Campus Mare Nostrum, "Meetings on cultural heritage in the Mediterranean. Methodology-Research-Reflection" held in Santiago de la Ribera 14 to 16 July with twenty students.
The mayor was accompanied by Education Course Directors: María Dolores Palazón, UMU, José María López and Juan Carlos Molina UPCT.
The course, organized by both universities and held for the third year brings together leading experts Spanish cultural heritage related to the theoretical and practical way, address the cultural heritage as a resource for society.
The mayor of Education, Catalina Perez welcomed the participants who encouraged students to take advantage of the course, and at the same time to enjoy the attractions of the town at this time, as the great cultural offer in addition to the gastronomy, fiestas de Santiago de la Ribera, the sun and the beach.
The course addresses the methodology for intervention in equity musealization military heritage, which includes a practice to visit Cartagena Naval Museum, the Heritage Public Works, the agrarian heritage, research, intervention in the Architectural Heritage, and how they have evolved to the criteria to be followed in the restoration of the Cathedral of Murcia.
This is the first year of the International University of the Sea of ​​four in this issue home to the town of San Javier.
