The Department of Environment has organized a campaign of environmental activities during the summer in collaboration with Anse, Southeastern Naturalist Association, to be held in various itinerant beaches of Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga del Mar Menor, from 17 of July to 14 August.
The activities are aimed at education and public awareness on recycling, with smaller and clean and respect the natural environment of beaches.
Moreover, a traveling campaign on Arenales Anse area, and a stand with material on various environmental campaigns of the Department of Environment will be displayed.
The beach The Castillico of Santiago de la Ribera hosts the first of the activities to the smallest on Thursday July 17 and August 7 be repeated on the beach Columbus.
In La Manga del Mar Menor is Mistral Beach which hosts this recycling activity related to July 24, and The Pedruchillo August 14.
Activities occupy beaches from 10:00 to 13:0 h.
In the summer campaign has also been organized for 30 July a cleanup activity Veneziola area bordering the natural space of the weirs, in which the Department of Environment has the support of Anse, volunteering of ProtecciónCivil, Youth Red Cross, and Department of Tourism.
This activity is open to anyone who wants to join an initiative that helps to highlight the need to protect the beaches not throwing garbage or any object in a natural area like a beach.
To facilitate the movement is arranged the ferry to La Manga and the tourist train that will transfer to the destination.

On August 5 other activity seabed cleanup will be held on the beach of Barnuevo, in collaboration with the diving club Turkana of San Pedro del Pinatar.
