A total of 135 students have started today in San Javier on "International course on high-performance basketball" held for the third consecutive year in the town organized by the International University of the Sea
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Murcia, Pedro Miralles, the Councillor for Education of San Javier, Catalina Perez, the mayor of Sports San Javier, Carlos Albaladejo and one of the course directors, José Margineda inaugurated this morning the course held in assistant municipal sports pavilion San Javier intensively until Sunday 20 July.
The Vice Chancellor for Education and Innovation, Pedro Miralles highlighted the success of this course is the one with a larger number of students, the summer courses of the University, and as an example noting, too, the high participation of students Region, and its international dimension.
Miralles bet thanked the municipality of San Javier both the sports world and the culture, reiterated the support of the new team rector of the University of Murcia in such courses betting more on internationalization both faculty and students.
The mayor of Education, Catalina Perez welcomed the participants who wished a happy use of the course, and enjoy the facilities and the wide range of cultural and leisure complementarily be found in the town.
Also, the mayor of Sports, Carlos Albaladejo thanked the confidence of the UMU in San Javier for hosting this very successful course and congratulated the directors thereof, for the quality and the reception given another year.
During the course which runs until noon on Sunday, July 20 students, mostly young basketball players, they can learn about the working methods of high-level professional basketball.

and conditioning coach of Real Madrid, Juan Hidalgo Trapero.
