The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez Pastor today signed four cooperation agreements between the City and associations Housewives of San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera, who were represented by their presidents, Rosa Pérez-Carro and Carmen Romero, respectively ;
San Javier group theater, represented by Leonor Benitez, and the group of Songs and Dances Mar Menor, San Javier, by Salvador Carrasco.
Juan Martinez said the hard work developing this partnership and their willingness to work in all that are requested from the City.
"Since this government team we have always been aware of the need to maintain aid to associations that help boost the social and cultural life of the town, so that despite the economic difficulties we have never stopped supporting these organizations, will also enrich the local voluntary sector, "he said.
The agreement signed with associations housewives of San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera introduces financial aid of 1,000 euros for each of these groups.
The San Javier theater group will receive a contribution of $ 3,000, and the same amount will receive the group Chorus and Dance Mar Menor.
Leonor Benitez, director and president of the theater group San Javier thanked the support received allowing them to continue riding works and represent them wherever they are requested.
Benítez made an offer of the group to go to different districts or collaborate with charity events, as they have done so far, and invited the audience to not miss the new release of the group scheduled for 25 August at the Festival Theatre, Music and Dance, with "Crazy in Love".
In the terms expressed Salvador Carrasco, Group Songs and Dances Mar Menor, which among its activities, which keep all year, with huertanas masses, Mayos, and performances, the Festival of Folklore is held each year in early September in San Javier.
Carrasco encouraged to join this training aimed at maintaining tradition and cultural richness of Murcia folklore.
Also, the presidents of the associations of housewives, Rosa Pérez-Carro and Mari Carmen Romero thanked the aid of 1,000 euros each to get partnership that allows them to continue some of their activities and conduct cultural outings for the Region.
